Skyler King, MMA and NFL writer

Skyler is a Junior Sports Administration major at Samford University. Skyler has played football and rugby and is currently a mixed martial artist. As someone who has traveled the country and witnessed sport at every level, Skyler has seen athletes (pro and amateur) behind the scenes and in competition. Skyler’s participation and association with sports of varying levels of popularity have allowed him to understand there’s more to every athlete than their performances. It’s this experience that made Skyler interested in breaking down sport’s biggest stories beyond the regurgitation of statistics.

Grant Gardner.jpeg

Grant Gardner, MLB and PGA Tour writer

Grant is a Sports Administration major from Samford University residing in Birmingham, Alabama. Grant will be headlining our baseball and golf coverage while contributing to other aspects of the site and his playing experiences will be a valuable asset to our content. Grant’s football teams have produced the last 2 Heisman Trophy winners and the last NFL MVP… but have zero rings to show for it. He is currently asking God why he hates his football teams and why he doesn’t want them to win big games in the postseason. Grant will take on any challengers in FIFA 19 and MLB The Show on his PS4 and he also lives by one motto, “Life is too short to bet the under.”
